When you first start out to forge something for yourself, it can be good to begin on fresh, unclaimed land. With that in mind, we make The Virgin Soil. It is virtually Fragrance Free - all of the essential oils have been removed, leaving a very mild earthiness from the carrier oils that makes up the base formulation. This mild earthiness will fade quickly as your hair absorbs the moisturizing and nourishing oil.

The Virgin Soil is great for those who are highly sensitive, or who wish to have a hair oil that won’t clash with scents from colognes, perfumes, balms, or other fragrances.

Perfect for both men's and women's hair, our base formulation is a superior blend of quality carrier oils, making our hair oils one of the best and most comprehensive oils on the market. Simply put, it just plain works. Rich in vitamins, proteins, and fatty acids, our hair oil will moisturize, condition, and tame your hair and scalp, while also strengthening, protecting, and reducing frizz.

    Fractionated Coconut Oil

    Organic Hemp Seed Oil

  • Before First Use: Those with sensitive skin may want to test the oil on your forearm prior to use.

    1. Start with dry or slightly damp hair. Longer or curlier hair may need to be wetter. Start with slightly damp and increase how wet your hair is until you find what optimal for you.

    2. Place 1-2 pumps into the palm of your hands and rub together. Use 1 pump for dry, and 2 for damp. Different lengths and types of hair may require adjusting the amount; start with fewer pumps and then increase until you find the perfect amount.

    3. Run your hands through your hair from back to front. Focus on ensuring application from the hair mid-length to tips, as this is where the oil will do the most good. For curly hair, you can scrunch your still wet hair to apply the oil; this better distributes the oil while adding definition and bounce to the curls.

    4. Style as usual, using a good quality comb or brush.
